THE Society for International Relations Awareness (SIRA) has congratulated Ambassador Olusola Enikanolaiye on his appointment as Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Foreign Affairs and International Relations.
In a congratulatory message to the new appointee, Owei Lakemfa, President of SIRA, said the appointment of Amb. Enikanolaiye is a demonstration of the confidence President Tinubu has in his ability and competence as an experienced career diplomat.
The Society for International Relations Awareness, SIRA, hereby expresses its warm congratulations to Your Excellency on your richly deserved appointment into the President’s Cabinet as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and International Relations.
Lakemfa said “SIRA is delighted that one of its prominent members…has been selected for the honour and privilege of appointment into such a position of responsibility and trust” adding that “the timing of this appointment could not be more auspicious as Nigeria is now set to reclaim its rightful standing in the community of nations.”

The message reads in part: “This is, without doubt, a demonstration of the confidence that the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has in your ability and competence as an experienced career diplomat.
“SIRA is delighted that one of its prominent Members, your good self, has been selected for the honour and privilege of appointment into such a position of responsibility and trust. The timing of this appointment could not be more auspicious as Nigeria is now set to reclaim its rightful standing in the community of nations. We are also not in doubt that with your rich diplomatic experience spanning across the globe, which included serving as Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and in the National Defence College, you will excel in your new post and make your country and society proud.
“Equally, given your pedigree, SIRA has no doubt that you will ensure that Nigeria’s foreign relations has a firm footing and meaningful impact on the people.
