THE Senate on Thursday morning received a list of 28 ministerial nominees from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for screening and confirmation.
The Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, delivered the list to the Senate.
Among those who made the ministerial list were five former governors. They include, Nyesom Wike, ex-governor of Rivers, David Umahi, ex-governor of Ebonyi, who is the current Deputy Leader of the Senate, Atiku Bagudu, ex-governor of Kebbi, Muhammadu Badaru, ex-governor of Jigawa and Nasir, el-Rufai, immediate past governor of Kaduna State.
The full list, which was announced by the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio at the plenary of the Senate, include the following:
