THE BENUE State House of Assembly, on Thursday lifted its suspension of five members for three sittings in the last plenary of Tuesday August 7, 2025, for allegedly tampering with the report on the activities of the Otukpo Local Government Area.
The members are, Hon. Shimawua Terna, Hon. Mathew Damkor, Hon. Cephas Dyako, Hon. Moses Egbodo and Hon. Isaac Ochekliye.
However, House during Thursday plenary, barely two days into the suspension said, the five legislators showed remorse, pleaded to be recalled and promised to be of good conduct.
