MAJOR stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress in Bauchi state, on Thursday agreed to bury their differences for a rebirth of a strong and united APC in the state.
The meeting, chaired by Yobe State Governor, Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni, with the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political and Other Matters Hon. Ibrahim Kabiru Masari on board, was held at the Yobe State Government Lodge, Abuja.
A press statement signed Mamman Mohammed, Director General, Press and Media Affairs to Governor Buni, revealed that the meeting also had in attendance former speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, Sen. Umar Shehu Buba, former governors Isa Yuguda and Mohammed Abubakar.
Other attendees, the press statement further revealed, include the Minister of Health, Prof. Ali Pate, two former Deputy governors and party stalwarts from Bauchi State.
According to the statement, the stakeholders buried their differences, embraced each other and expressed delight for the opportunity to unite with a clear understanding to work for the unity of the party.
