FOUR personson Tuesday afternoonwere injured as a helicopter crashed into a building in the Oba Akran area of Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) has confirmed.
All four casualties, including the pilot, were retrieved from the aircraft alive. The incident reportedly happened at about 3.30pm.
Mr Tunji Oketumbi, Public Affairs, General Manager, NSIB confirmed the accident in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos.
The Chief Press Secretary to Lagos State governor, in an update on Twitter, confirmed that persons aboard the aircraft were rescued and taken to the hospital.
The helicopter crashed in front of UBA branch building in Ikeja.
