Uba spoke in a 44-second video which has gone viral on social media circles in the state, especially on Facebook.
“My good people of Benue State. Today, being 24th of November, 2022, I want to talk to you.
“Over two weeks ago, I have a health challenge but the Governor of Benue State rose to the challenge and I have been subjected to the best medical attention.
“I want to assure you that I am back to my feet and I am ready to join you very soon.
“I also want to use this opportunity to thank all of you for being on your knees and praying for my quick recovery. God bless you,” Uba said in the video.
Uba however did not tell the Benue public the nature of his ailment and where exactly he was received “the best medical attention.
National Record had reported recently that the PDP Guber candidate was flown to an unnamed country abroad for medical attention for an unknown illness.
