PRESIDENT Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday swore in Mr Abel Enitan as the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF).
Enitan succeeds Mrs Didi Walson-Jack, who retired from the Federal Civil Service after attaining the statutory retirement age of 60.
The swearing-in ceremony held at the State House, Abuja, was attended by the Permanent Secretary, State House, Mr Temitope Fashedemi, and other senior government officials.
The Presidency had on Aug. 19 announced Enitan’s appointment as HCSF, effective Aug. 27.
Before his elevation, Enitan served as Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, and was the most senior Permanent Secretary in the Federal Civil Service.
The new HCSF, who hails from Osun, had served as Permanent Secretary for seven years and seven months.
He previously served at the Ministry of Police Affairs, Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Office of the Vice President and Federal Ministry of Education. (NAN)
