PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu is meeting with state governors at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting, which is also being attended by the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, and the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and has in attendance not less than 27 governors and the deputy governor of Bauchi State in attendance, is not unconnected with the food situation and security in the country.
The federal government is reported to have started releasing tonnes of assorted grains to the market as part of efforts to make food available, affordable and accessible across the country.

President Tinubu is expected to leave for the AU summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, immediately after the meeting. African leaders will meet in Addis Ababa for the annual summit to be used to tackle the many challenges facing the continent and decide on how best to bolster the AU’s intervention in its various crises.
