BENUE State Council of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) said it will join the nationwide industrial action on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.
Comrade Joshua Abimiku, the NLC state secretary, told National Record Tuesday on phone that the state council got the directive for the industrial action late and therefore could not mobilise for the strike’s commencement on Tuesday as was the case in other states. “The strike started today but the information came late. Tomorrow [Wednesday], we are going to ensure total compliance,” Comrade Abimiku said.
