PRESIDENTIAL candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, on Monday disowned a version of the manifesto of the party currently in circulation.
Obi in his official twitter handle, @PeterObi, on Monday morning said an earlier draft of the manifesto being reviewed may have “made its way into the public space.”
Obi asked the public to disregard what is being circulated until he personally releases “the approved and final draft” of the party’s manifesto.
The tweet reads: “We have not formally released our Manifesto. I will do so personally. It seems an earlier draft copy under review has made its way into the public space. Until I release the approved and final draft, please disregard what is being circulated. -PO”
In another tweet, Obi also congratulated the Flamingos for winning the bronze medal at the under-17 women’s world cup. “Salute to our talented youths who continue to make Nigeria proud. PO”
