GOVERNOR Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has approved the appointment of 13 new permanent secretaries in the Benue State civil service.
According to the state’s Head of Service, Dr. Moses Agbogbo Ode, who announced the appointments on Friday, the move is meant to reposition the state’s civil service in line with the governor’s policy document.
Ode enjoined the new permanent secretaries to see their appointments as call to service and put in their best to justify the confidence reposed in them by Governor Alia.
He said date for the swearing-in ceremony of the new permanent secretaries will be announced in due course.
The 13 new permanent secretaries include: Ogenyi Elvis, Edor Martha, Ogaagbenyu Elijah Agweye, Nambativ Helen Zeremo, Hough Terwase Cephas, Engr. Ikyaabga Donald Wakwagh, Ihu Eunice Ogbenyi, James Aondoaka Iorpuu, Tyoishi A. Bibiana, Nonogo T. Philip, Amine M. Bebbie, Geraga Bartholomew and Ese Thomas.
