A DIVORCEE, Hadiza Yusuf, on Tuesday, prayed a Kubwa Grade I Area Court to grant her custody of her three children.
Yusuf and her former husband, Usman Umar, got divorced on July 23, 2023 and their marriage was contracted on June 27, 2004. The children are 17, 15, 14 and 11-year-olds respectively.
“Since the dissolution of our marriage, Umar took three of our children and left me with one.
“He does not allow them interact with people and they have not been going to school since 2011,” Yusuf said.

She alleged that the respondent told her children that she was dead.
The petitioner prayed the court to grant her the custody of her three children for the said reasons. The respondent was not in court but the judge, Mohammed Musa, ordered that hearing notice be served on him, and adjourned the matter until January15, 2024 for definite hearing. (NAN)
