THE DANGOTE Group has officially confirmed its sponsorship of the 2025 Nasarawa Trade Fair Exhibition, scheduled to commence on Wednesday in Lafia, the state capital.

According to Nidan Sambo Manasseh, Chairman of the Nigeria Association of Small-Scale Industrialists (NASSI), Nasarawa State Chapter, the event will be formally inaugurated by the Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi Sule.

Manasseh stated that the Trade Fair is a collaborative effort between NASSI and the Nasarawa State Chamber of Commerce, Agriculture, and Industries.

This year’s edition is themed: “Investing in Nasarawa’s Future: Fostering Economic Development Through Mineral and Agricultural Cottage Industrialization.”

Highlighting the significance of the fair, Manasseh remarked, “The Nasarawa Trade Fair Exhibition (NASTFE) serves as a crucial catalyst for the state’s economic transformation. This strategic initiative by NASSI aligns with Governor Abdullahi Alhaji Sule’s vision to attract investment and drive substantial economic growth.”

In a statement issued by the company’s Chief Branding and Communication Officer, Mr. Anthony Chiejina, and relayed to our Makurdi correspondent by the Head of Communications, Jibrin Abubakar, the Dangote Group reaffirmed its dedication to Nasarawa State’s economic development.

“Nasarawa State holds a pivotal position in our broader investment strategy in Nigeria. It hosts the Dangote Nasarawa Sugar Company Limited (NSCL), which, upon completion, will rank among the largest sugar investments on the African continent,” Chiejina stated.

Further elaborating on the partnership, Mrs. Fatima Wali Abdurrahman, Senior Special Adviser to the President of the Dangote Group, emphasized the company’s active participation in the fair. “We value this collaboration immensely. Several of our Strategic Business Units (SBUs) will also be participating,” she noted.

Mrs. Abdurrahman listed key participating SBUs, including Dangote Peugeot Automobiles Nigeria Limited (DPAN), Dangote SinoTruck, Dangote Sugar Refinery, Dangote Salt (NASCON), and Dangote Cement, among others.

She explained that the Trade Fair presents a strategic platform for the company to engage with stakeholders and potential partners. A dedicated Help Desk will be stationed at the Dangote pavilion to address inquiries and gather feedback from attendees.

Mrs. Abdurrahman encouraged participants to visit the Dangote exhibition stand to explore the company’s diverse range of innovative products.
