AN IKEJA Chief Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday remanded a 30-year-old fashion designer, Idris Adams, in Kirikiri Correctional Centre for allegedly defiling his neighbour’s two-year-old daughter.
The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Bola Osunsanmi, declined to take Adam’s plea and adjourned the matter until March 28, 2024 for legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP).

The prosecutor said that the child was taken to the hospital for medical examination. The offence, he said, contravened the provisions of Section 261 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015. (NAN)
