THE MANAGING Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Agbucity Farms, Mr Tiza Timothy Tarnongo, has flagged off the construction of Kula-Anguhar and Anune-Anguhar rural roads in Gwer West local government area of Benue state with a charge on residents of the two communities to cooperate with the project team.
Performing the ceremony on Saturday at Kula Community, Mr Tiza who hails from the area explained that the projects were part of his community service initiatives aimed at reducing insecurity in the communities as well as boosting the economic activities of the rural dwellers when completed.
Earlier in his speech, the kindred head of Mbakyu, Chief Anche Gbugh, appreciated Tiza for his commitment to community development and called on other prominent sons and daughters in the area to emulate him.

On his part, the Mue Ter Mbapa, Chief Lawrence Jir, who was visibly happy, described Tiza’s gesture as “miraculous”. He said it was the first of its kind in the area for an individual to embark on road construction as he appealed to the people to guard the equipment for the project.
In their separate remarks, Hon. Victor Ormin and Uhee Tor, extolled the contributions of Tiza to Tyoshin nation in terms of security and community development.
They said the gesture is a wakeup call to Tyoshin people and Benue state at large, adding that Alia’s government is committed to securing lives and property as they called on all hands to be on deck in the fight against insecurity.
