THE CARABAO Cup quarter-finals have been decided, with Manchester United set to take on Tottenham in arguably the biggest tie of the quarter-final while defending champions Liverpool are due to travel to Southampton.
United were comfortable winners on Wednesday night, putting five past Leicester City.
The 2023 Carabao Cup champions cruised into the final eight with Ruud van Nistelrooy in the dugout, but the interim boss may well have made way for Ruben Amorim by the time the next round gets underway.
The other matches will see holders Liverpool travel to Southampton while Arsenal host Crystal Palace in a London derby.
Finally, Newcastle’s reward for beating Chelsea is a home meeting with Brentford.
The quarter-final matches are due to take place in mid-December. The two-legged semi-finals will follow in the new year, with the final taking place on March 16 at Wembley.
