PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Mr Ezra Yakusak as replacement for outgoing Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer (ED/CEO) of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), Mr Olusegun Awolowo.
A statement by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media & Publicity, Tuesday said Mr Yakusak, who holds a PhD in commercial law from the Ahmadu Bello University, was previously NEPC’s Director, Policy and Strategy.
According to the statement, the appointment, which is with effect from 27th November, 2021, is for an initial term of four years in accordance with the provisions of Section 7 (1) of the NEPC (Establishment) Act, 1987.
Mr Yakusak has also served as Secretary to the Governing Board of the Council.
