BENUE State University, Makurdi (BSU), has announced a major update regarding the admission of candidates who initially applied for the B.Sc. Mass Communication programme.
Following the unbundling of the Mass Communication Department into the newly established Faculty of Media and Communication Studies, which now comprises five distinct programmes, the university has reassigned applicants to these new programmes on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
Affected candidates are required to accept their transfer into the designated programmes to facilitate the finalisation of their admission processing with JAMB.
The university urges all applicants in this category, as well as those still awaiting admission, to frequently check their admission status on JAMB CAPS/portal and take necessary action by accepting their change of programme or admission offer.
