GOVERNOR Hyacinth Alia has given the green light for the recruitment of about 253 Benue youths to drive the Benue State Digital Infrastructure Services Management Enforcement Agency (BENDISMEA).
Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Tersoo Kula, announced on Sunday that Governor Alia has directed the immediate release of salaries for the new positions at the agency.
According to the governor, key benefits of the recruitment exercise include providing employment opportunities for Benue youth, enhancing the state’s digital capabilities, equipping youths with essential digital skills, stimulating local economies, improving access to technology and empowering the next generation of leaders.
The development, National Record learnt, is part of the state’s broader efforts to enhance digital infrastructure, following the N10.8 billion MoU signed with service providers in July, 2024.
