BENUE State governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, is to swear in new Commissioners and Special Advisers on Tuesday, 29th August, 2023.
Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the governor, Sir Tersoo Kula, who announced this in a statement on Thursday said, the event will hold at the New Banquet Hall, Government House, Makurdi, at 10:00am.

The commissioners to be sworn-in include: Joyce Luga – Gboko, Hon. Barr. Omale Omale – Apa, Dr. Yanmar M. Ortese – Guma, Dr. Frederick Ikyaan – Gwer-West, Hon. Ugwu Odoh – Ogbadibo, Hon. Kwaghba Amande – Katsina-Ala, Matthew Aboh – Ukum, Hon. Tiza Imojime- Buruku, and Hon. Aondowase Kunde – Konshisha.

The statement warned that the event will be strictly by invitation and each nominee to be sworn-in is allowed to come to the venue with a maximum of two guests only.
