“And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying, This Month shall be unto you the beginning of months: It shall be the first month of the year to you” (Exodus12: 1-2).
THIS was the first word of prophecy God gave the children of Israel when they came out of Egypt after 430 years of bondage and captivity.
Invariably God was telling the children of Israel that this is your month of New Beginning and I am going to speed up the process of your recovery and restoration.
What is new beginning?
It is:
* A fresh start
* A new phase
* A new dimension
* A change
* A transformation
Scriptural examples of people whom God gave a new beginning:
- Abraham (Genesis 12:1-5)
He gave Abraham a new beginning at 75 years of age and he became the father of many nations.
At 75 years, Abraham was still leaving at his father’s house. It seems to me that God compressed the wasted years of Abraham for him. The years the locust, cankerworm, caterpillar and palmerworm have eaten (Joel 2:24-25), He will put it together and bless you once, for the wasted years.
- The children of Israel (Exodus 12:1-2). God gave the children of Israel a new beginning after 430 years of bondage and captivity.
- Peter (Luke 5:1-11). Peter toiled and laboured all night without catching any fish until Jesus showed up in the morning. And at His presence, Peter caught so much fish that his net brake.
- Saul (1Samuel 9:1-25; 10:1-12). Saul was looking for the father’s asses for three days until he met Samuel and the narrative changed. His portion was given to him, he was anointed and became the King of Israel.
- David (1Samuel 16:1-13). A shepherd boy who was looking after the sheep in the bush was sent for by Samuel the Prophet and anointed as King of Israel in the midst of his brethren.
- Mephibosheth (2 Samuel 9:1-13). He was leaving in ostracization, isolation until mercy located him and he relocated from Lodebar (a place of dryness, no communication) to the King’s table (a place of affluence, acceptance and provision).
- Ruth (Ruth 1; 2; 3; 4). After the devastation in Moab, and from an incestuous and iniquitous tribe, she ended up becoming the great grandmother of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Declarations:
The mercies of God shall rewrite your history and give you a new identity in Jesus’ name! Amen!
You shall be transmogrified, translocated to the King’s table where you shall dine and wine.
Affluence, influence and impact shall be the order of events in your life. God shall cause protocols to be suspended for your new beginnings in Jesus’ name! Amen!
God shall take away the King’s sleep to orchestrate your remembrance and fast track your enthronement, honour and dignity (Esther 6:1-11), in Jesus’ name! Amen!
I decree and declare that a feast shall be made for you. A feast of fat things (Isaiah 25:6). You shall suck honey out of the rock.
Butter and honey shall you eat, that thou may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good (Isaiah 7:15). You shall drink honey abundantly, O beloved (Songs of Songs 5:1).
I prophesy that every stagnation in your life shall give way to promotion and elevation;
– sorrow and pain shall give way to victory and celebration;
– closed doors shall give way to open doors; and
– defeat shall give way to victory, in Jesus’ name! Amen!
I decree and declare that the portion that hath been kept for you until now shall be given to you (1Samuel 9:23-24) and your bishopric no man shall take in Jesus’ name! Amen!
