SIR Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation has awarded scholarships worth N100 million to indigent students from the northern part of the country studying in various tertiary institutions. This is contained in a statement signed by Abubakar Umar, the Director-General of the foundation and made available to journalists on Wednesday in kaduna. According to him, the initiative which takes place every year, aims to provide financial support to the less-privileged students, enabling them to pursue their academic careers without hindrances. RUSSIA has carried out a drone attack on a port in southern Ukraine using `kamikaze’ drones, a Ukrainian regional official said on Wednesday. The strike hit production and transhipment facilities, causing a fire, according to a Telegram post by the Odessa regional governor, Oleh Kiper. THE Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC), has shared N966.110 billion revenue to the Federal Government, States and Local Government Councils (LGCs) for July. This is contained in a communiqué issued at the end of FAAC.meeting for August, which was chaired by the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr Wale Edun.
