THE DIGITAL Bridge Institute (DBI) has concluded a 3-day training for senior executive officers of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) on “Cyber Forensics & Digital Evidence Gathering.”
The 3-day intensive practical training program was delivered by DBI’s seasoned instructors at its Abuja facilities.
According to Mr. Emeka Nzeih, Head, Learning & Development, DBI, the training aimed to equip participants with digital forensics skills to monitor, investigate, and document broadcasting law violations.
The course covered identifying, capturing, and analysing digital evidence from broadcast platforms, social media, and websites to build admissible cases.
The training met Nigerian Evidence Act (2011) and NBC hearing requirements, enhancing participants’ skills in digital forensics, evidence gathering, and investigating broadcasting violations like hate speech and false news.
While evaluating the training, participants expressed satisfaction at the high-level intellectual exhibited by the instructors, and commended the DBI for the quality of presentation.
