A MUSIC video by yet to be unidentified artist(s) praising United States President, Donald Trump, over Nigeria’s insecurity has continued to circulate widely on social media, drawing attention for its emotional, faith-driven message.

The song blends spoken-word narration with a slow-tempo gospel refrain, opening with a dramatic declaration on religious violence in Nigeria.

In the opening lines of the 5.59-minute video, simply entitled by the sharing tag – “Naija o. Dem don release song now now”, the artist(s) state that “Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria,” adding that “thousands and thousands of Christians are being killed,” a claim used to frame the song’s sombre and urgent tone.

According to the lyrics, the violence is portrayed as prolonged and devastating, with communities living in fear while the world looks on. The artist laments that “terror ruled long, where worship was prayed,” and that “farmers lost fields where harvest was laid,” painting a picture of livelihoods destroyed and worship spaces turned into places of fear.

The song further recounts grief and displacement suffered by families and rural dwellers, noting that mothers mourned sons year after year while “generations grieved under relentless attacks.”

These lines form the emotional backbone of the piece, presenting insecurity as a shared national trauma rather than isolated incidents.

        Another screenshot of the video.

Within this context, Trump is presented as a symbolic voice of courage and justice. The artist credits him with speaking out when others remained silent, singing that “you sounded the alarm when others looked away,” and describing his stance as “a global alarm that broke the night.”

Repeated choruses express gratitude, with the artist declaring: “Thank you, President Donald Trump, for giving faith a voice again and for restoring hope and life again.”

The song suggests that Trump’s posture offered reassurance at a time of fear, particularly during festive periods, claiming that communities “went to bed on Christmas Eve filled with fear but woke up with news of air strikes on the terrorists” and were able to celebrate without tears.

Visually and lyrically, the video maintains a reflective and prayerful mood, combining gratitude with lamentation.

Rather than celebrating political power alone, the song emphasises moral clarity and the importance of global attention, insisting that “truth needs a trumpet and justice needs a word.”

The song echoes strongly within faith-based circles, where it functions as both a tribute and a form of spiritual expression. Lines such as “hope has a sound again” and “faith can arise where blood once stayed” reflect a yearning for renewal amid prolonged insecurity.

Although the identity of the artist remains unknown, the video highlights how music and digital storytelling are being used to articulate pain, gratitude and hope around sensitive national issues.

Overall, the song indicates public anxiety over insecurity and a longing for protection, justice and renewed hope, values the anonymous artist believes Trump represented at a critical moment.
